World Precision Instrument Dieffenbach Bulldog Clamp, 6.5cm, Straight, German
Dieffenbach Bulldog Clamps are a versatile surgical instrument used for precise and reliable occlusion (blocking) of blood vessels or tissue to control bleeding during surgical procedures. These clamps are designed for pinching delicate or small blood vessel. Dieffenback Bulldog Clamps have a spring-loaded mechanism and a series of sharp teeth on the clamp's jaws. The teeth help to grip the blood vessel or tissue firmly, while the spring-loaded mechanism keeps the clamp closed. These clamps are commonly used in vascular surgeries, including open-heart surgery, where they are used to clamp off the coronary artery during a bypass procedure. They are also used in neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery. These clamps are reusable and can be sterilized with a chemical sterilant or by autoclaving.
